Our program aims at combining the three pillars to what we believe is the foundation
to a healthy life. We want to help you find balance in Mind, Body and Spirit,
and offer you various services to achieve this life-changing goal.
Live Workouts
Each Friday, a one-hour workout will be showcased and you will receive your fitness challenge for the week.
Most workouts will be an hour in length, focusing on a total body workout using HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) philosophies. Free weights, tubing, bench, chair and mat will all be used in addition to body weight exercises.
Shorter, 30-minute workouts will also be presented, using the same HITT philosophy.
Why is HIIT Training the main focus?
Overall, HIIT produces many of the same health benefits as other forms of exercise in a shorter amount of time. These benefits include decreases in body fat, heart rate and blood pressure. HITT may also help lower blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity. Essentially, it gives you the biggest bang for your workout buck!
To challenge you further, workouts focusing on only the musculoskeletal system using free weights, tubing and a bench will also be available.
During the warmer months of the year, we’ll also be offering outdoor group workouts. One of the best workouts you will ever have is breathing in fresh air while using what nature or the outdoors has to offer. Parks, outdoor benches, children’s playground, hills and steps; all will increase the intensity of your workout while also adding diversity and fun into your routine.
Technique videos will also be available to you so that you feel empowered and confident in all your exercises and workouts. Maintaining proper form will ensure that your workouts are safe and effective.
All workouts are recorded; allowing you to watch the videos at the time that works best for you, as many times as you like.
Weigh-ins
Every Friday, you have the option to either add in your weight in your personal dashboard or come in, in person and get weighed in by a professional.
The first Friday of every month, you will not only add in your weight, but also your measurements. When we start to get fit and build muscle mass, your weight will fluctuate on a scale, but measurements don’t lie, therefore it is the best indicator of your progress.
Your personal dashboard will always be available to you while on your MBS fitness journey, providing you with a clear overview of your progress and achievements.
Recipes
Once a week you will receive 1-3 recipes for either breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as healthy snack ideas.
We’ll explore a variety of nutrition options such a gluten free, plant based, vegan and high protein.
Seminars and Workshops
On Friday afternoons, an informative presentation will be posted on the site which will consist of either an interview with a guess speaker or myself, discussing a wide variety of health and fitness related topics.
Workshops will also be offered from time to time with different guest speakers on various topics to help you achieve your health and fitness goals even faster.
Support
By joining this group, you are actually joining a family. The goal is for all of us to help each other, in any way that we can, achieving our goals together. We all have challenging days, so to know we have a family that is always there to help us get through it, makes life just a little bit easier.
Pam, as well as other professionals will continuously be helping you on your fitness journey. Motivational groups are also available if you need just a little more love and support to get you to where you want to be.
